VLADEY presents the new project by Pavel Pepperstein «The Resurrection of Pablo Picasso in the Year 3111» includes the eponymous series of paintings, a story, as well as a film. The series has arrived from the artist’s just finished personal exhibition in the swiss museum Kunsthaus Zug. For the first time in Russia, the series is presented in almost full volume, it will occupy the whole VLADEY Space. During the three months of the exhibition visitors will be able to watch movies by Pavel Pepperstein, listen as he reads aloud his new novels, visit the author's special meetings and also participate in conferences with the resurrected Pablo Picasso.

According to the plot of the Pavel Pepperstein’s novel all the paintings from the series were created by the resurrected Pablo Picasso, using the motives of his lifetime creativity, as well as the knowledge and images gained from the other worlds. According to Pablo, in some of the spaces he visited after his death, there are dominant color characteristics, so he has devoted a series of works to those colors – gray, purple, red, black, green and white. All new canvases Picasso dated 3111, arguing that 2016 is the year 3111 according to the world of the dead calendar. All paintings on the exhibition are signed by P.P. – Pablo Picasso or Pavel Pepperstein? The question remains open.
