Georgy Guryanov 1961–2013
Artist, the «Kino» band drummer. Worked in neo-expressionist style in the «New Artists» group in the 80’s, later joined the New Academy of Fine Arts and began to follow the classical canons. His characters – sailors, pilots, tractor drivers, athletes, boxers, are always flawless like the ancient Greek gods. The works feature ceremonial seriousness and technical perfectionism. Works are in the Russian Museum.
